Thanks to our cooperative of multi-skilled professionals we've yet to meet a challenge we haven't been able to master in the nine years we've been working with a diverse client base and a wide range of challenges, needs and expectations.

Most often it is a senior leader or an in-house communications executive reaching out for our specialized expertise or asking us to take on a project that will free up their staff to focus on other mandates.

Trusted, experienced, innovative, creative, adaptable. Those are adjectives often used to describe John Lashway's brand. John combines a career of hands-on communications, community engagement, and business experience with today's current best practices to serve clients across North America in business, real estate development, higher education, health care, sports, culture, recreation, entertainment, the performing arts, and not-for-profits. He has earned a reputation for expertise in strategic planning and execution in support of communications and community engagement, communicating effectively with external and internal stakeholders, issues and crisis management, and brand enhancement and protection.

John's career has evolved in high profile positions beginning on staff with his alma mater, the University of Oregon. He became the second-youngest communications director in the National Basketball Association when he was hired by the Portland Trail Blazers, and was later recruited to Canada to help create and launch the expansion Toronto Raptors franchise. He was instrumental in the formation of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd., where he served as a vice president and then senior vice president, leading seven departments for communications, community development, and two charitable foundations, while accountable to a multitude of marketing and corporate initiatives. His combined experience in the boardroom and in the lockerroom is unsurpassed in the communications field.

Since establishing his consulting firm in 2008, John has proven the ability to adeptly handle the most difficult of marketing and corporate communications challenges in several industries and in markets of all sizes and diverse cultural makeups. He is passionate about collaborating with interesting people doing interesting things. He embraces a client's business as if it was his own, and derives his greatest rewards from helping other people succeed in growing their career and achieving their goals.
